OUR STORY
SHING began in 2007, born from a dream to preserve the sacred art of Tibetan craftsmanship. With deep cultural pride, Gyamtso brought together master artisans from different regions and countries to create handcrafted Tibetan Buddhist altars, sacred tables, and thrones using premium teak wood.
In the early years, SHING grew quietly — taking orders only through friends, family, and word of mouth. Soon, the beauty of the work reached homes, monasteries, and even the honorable Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, carrying blessings from space to space.
A life-changing moment came in 2014 at the Guwahati Cultural Expo, when His Holiness blessed Gyamtso’s work and said, “Continue this work.” Those words became the heartbeat of SHING.
In 2021, Gyamtso again had the honor of meeting His Holiness, who warmly reaffirmed with a second blessing, “Continue the work you are doing — you will be happy".
Those blessings became our guiding light.
And today, after more than a decade of devotion, SHING steps into the world online, sharing sacred craftsmanship built with prayer, precision, and purpose — meant to live for generations.

We finish our creations with the finest wood polish—rich in color, enhancing the natural grain, and ensuring long-term protection from cracks, fading, and insects. A timeless and sacred seat, made to honor teachings and elevate every ceremonial space.
