We are a small, family-owned coffee shop nestled in the heart of Wallington, New Jersey. At Akar Cafe, we focus on doing the simple things right, serving thoughtfully brewed coffee, handcrafted teas, and freshly baked pastries made with love. Whether you’re starting your morning or taking a midday break, we invite you to slow down, sip something warm, and enjoy a little moment of joy with us.

The cafe is named for their daughter, whose sunshine inspires the warmth and spirit of Akar. We’re happy you’re here.
